Blue Innovation: Empowering Coastal Youth to Protect Our Oceans

In 2023 and 2024, Impactive Innovation Hub led the transformative Blue Innovation Challenge in Zanzibar — a groundbreaking platform empowering youth to address marine and coastal challenges through innovation. Over 180 students and young innovators participated in both editions, presenting forward-thinking solutions in areas such as marine litter mapping, reef restoration, eco-tourism, circular economy, and sustainable fisheries.

Circular Economy: Turning Waste into Wealth Through Youth Innovation
